Who Would Say "no" For A Kottu..........

Kottu roti originated in Batticaloa, in the Eastern part of Sri Lanka during the early 1970s by the local Muslim and Tamil people. Etymologically the name is from the Tamil language meaning "chopped roti" (chopped wheat roti mixed with curry sauce).

The basic roti is made of Gothamba flour. The name itself is Tamil: Gothamba (a form of Kathamba-meaning a flour made out of a variety of grains-referring to the white flour, and roti). Slowly it has spread to other parts of the country as the strife continued and has now caught up and has become extremely popular. It can be found in many Sri Lankan restaurants in other countries, where there is a large Sri Lankan population.

Kothu is a food that has successfully transcended social boundaries in Sri Lanka. Kothu, which used to be a cheap, takeaway meal for lower socioeconomic classes, has now become almost a staple diet for those of upper socioeconomic classes as well, especially among the young and outgoing. It is now a common practice for nightclub and party goers in Sri Lanka to end their nights with a kothu as a midnight snack.

As restaurateurs explore with ideas, a variety of kothu variations have become available. The main ones are where the roti is substituted for pittu or string hoppers, hence the pittu kothu and string hopper kottu.

A Creation From Pens

Art is in essence trans personal in nature.
That means that it is designed to be interacted with not just by one single person, but by many people.
If this was not the case, you could stream your symphony whilst you lie in a chair, and you would never bother to try and write it down and have it be played by a huge orchestra for other people to share.Once an artist has overcome their own personal pathology to a degree and they can finally think beyond themselves and get to consider their audiences across time and space as well, we are engaged in a fantastic trans personal process where the artist gets to pass on messages, solutions, insights, experiences in a truly fabulous way. Each person is an artist. You can't be alive and not have an energy mind that will send you the answers to whatever questions you put in.Sadly, only very few people use this extraordinary capacity of the human mind, and that's not the way its meant to be.Imagine a world where people would ask questions and receive answers that we would never thought to ask.Imagine how they in turn would look to your questions and answers and be enriched just the same. That's what creativity is, and that's what it is for - not for the chosen few, but for everyone.

A Puppy For Your Life

If the time is right for you to add a new puppy to your family, that is wonderful news! Sometimes, your future companion finds you. He comes into your life by chance, and in an instant you feel that connection. You know he is the one. However, it does not always happen like that. Often, you must take on the important task of going out and finding the right kind of puppy for you. First, you need to examine your lifestyle and consider what you are looking for in a puppy. Purebred or mix? Big or small? Other factors include grooming and exercise needs, temperament and potential health issues. Then you need to decide where to look for your new puppy. Research and patience are essential throughout the process. When you have found the right puppy, you will know you have a friend for life.

Isn't This Similar To our Palm??

Within the various uses of the word today, "nature" often refers to geology and wildlife. Nature may refer to the general realm of various types of living plants and animals, and in some cases to the processes associated with inanimate objects – the way that particular types of things exist and change of their own accord, such as the weather and geology of the Earth, and the matter and energy of which all these things are composed. It is often taken to mean the "natural environment" or wilderness–wild animals, rocks, forest, beaches, and in general those things that have not been substantially altered by human intervention, or which persist despite human intervention. For example, manufactured objects and human interaction generally are not considered part of nature, unless qualified as, for example, "human nature" or "the whole of nature". This more traditional concept of natural things which can still be found today implies a distinction between the natural and the artificial, with the artificial being understood as that which has been brought into being by a human consciousness or a human mind. Depending on the particular context, the term "natural" might also be distinguished from the unnatural, the supernatural, or synthetic.

Have You Ever Heard Love Birds Do Stretching

Lovebirds are pint-sized bundles of joy. They have the full personality of parrots while being easy to house because of their size. Lovebirds are little clowns, playing for hours at a time. They love to hang from toys, spin them around, and dance on your shoulder. Watch out for your buttons! They love to pull them off your shirts! They love to snuggle and preen. Many people believe lovebirds must be kept in pairs. This is simply not true. A single lovebird makes a better pet because it bonds to you rather than to another lovebird.

Watch these young lovebirds play “The Mirror Game” – They fly up to their reflections in the mirror to watch themselves fly, then land, then the other one goes. They never hit the mirror and can play this game forever without getting tired.

While it is easy to keep a pair of lovebirds tame, if you plan on spending lots of time with your bird you can keep it alone. However, if you work long hours and don’t think you’ll have a lot of time for your love bird, we recommend you get him a companion. This will keep your lovebirds happy and prevent boredom.

~~The Mother Of Mothers~~

The Virgin Mary can easily be defined as the most appropriate role model for women. As a motherly figure, Mary exemplifies strength of godliness, strength, and maternal instinct. Mary portrays traits of holiness, piety, and humbleness. As a teacher, Mary instructs women on the importance of trust and perseverance.

The most obvious role Mary plays in the Bible is the motherly figure. One might consider her to be the mother of all mothers. She received this reputation because she is the mother of Jesus Christ. Women look up to her because she raised the perfect man. Another reason why Mary is considered to be the ultimate mother figure is because she was hand-chosen by God. Out of all the women in the world, he chose a common woman who lived in the little town of Nazareth. She wasn't a woman of great wealth or stature. God chose Mary to be the mother of Jesus Christ because she possessed traits of holiness, piety, and humbleness.

As a role model to women, Mary teaches the importance of trusting in the Lord. Her faith in God was tested when an angel of the Lord informed her that she would miraculously give birth to the Savior. Most women wouldn't have shown the trust she did. Most women wouldn't have believed the message. Mary listened to the angel with acceptance. She knew God had a plan for her. In the present, women should have the same trust in the Lord that Mary did. God has a plan for us just like he had a plan for Mary. He would not deny his children any necessity.

Mary showed complete trust in God when Joseph received a warning from a dream he had. The dream foretold that Herod wanted Jesus dead and urged them to move to Egypt. If Mary had dismissed the dream as nothing, Jesus Christ would have continued to be pursued by Herod, who wanted to kill him. Mary trusted the Lord to the point where she fulfilled his commands without question.

One of the most valuable strengths Mary possessed was her ability to persevere. She went through many trials in her life, but she never lost sight of the Lord. She used her complete trust in God and her strong will to overcome obstacles and setbacks.

An example of Mary's perseverance was when she and her other relatives went to see Jesus during his ministry. When alerted of their presence, Jesus refused to see them. He put his followers above his own family. Although she may have been surprised by his actions, she continued to support him until the end.

Another example of Mary's perseverance was the way she coped watching her son face persecution. She witnessed the men who swore they would never betray her son deny him in an instant. Peter denied he was a follower of Jesus Christ three times. Thomas declared he wouldn't believe in the resurrection of Jesus until he put his fingers where the nails were hammered in.

The persecution didn't stop with the betrayal from his own followers. It couldn't have been easy for Mary to watch her son being whipped, beaten, and ridiculed by the Roman soldiers and by the people he came to save. It must have been difficult for her to see him carry his own cross until he lost all his physical strength. She must have been horrified to see the nails hammered in to his skin and to look at the pain he was in. It must have been unbearable for her to see him hang on the cross only to experience a slow and painful death.

Despite all this, Mary persevered. Although she experienced times of sorrow and despair, she always trusted in the Lord. She never decided to give in. When something bad happened, she continued on because she knew it was all a part of God's plan.

Today's woman should look at three character traits that Mary upheld and strive to apply those traits to their own life: holiness, piety, and humbleness. Although we live in a different world than Mary did, some things never change. God's expectations of his people haven't changed and they never will.

Mary is undoubtedly one of the most influential women in the Bible who demonstrates holiness. Even though Mary was merely human, she put her best efforts into fulfilling God's purpose. The modern woman should also put her best efforts into being holy. God rewards good behavior. He will bestow good things on people who live in the light instead of the darkness.

Mary exemplifies the trait of piety in several different areas. Obviously, she was a motherly figure. It was her personal responsibility to raise Jesus Christ, an honorable and virtuous man. Mary's relationship with God was so holy that she is called Queen of All Saints. She trusted the Lord to the point where she would never question his authority.

Mary possessed a great deal of humbleness. She was not a woman of conceit with a proud nature. She was content being a servant of God. She took on the responsibility of raising the Messiah with dignity and enthusiasm. She thought of herself as unworthy of the task.

The Virgin Mary is the ultimate role model for women. She is the mother of all mothers. She possessed character traits that other women should strive to meet. Holiness, piety, and humbleness are valued very highly in the eyes of the Lord. The modern woman should look at Mary and not only admire her, but learn from her.
